3. Setup
3.1 Initial Power-On
- Connect the power adapter to the laptop and a power outlet.
- Open the laptop lid and press the power button located on the side or keyboard deck.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial Windows 10 Home in S Mode setup, including language, region, and network settings.

4.2 Touchscreen Functionality

4.3 Windows 10 Home in S Mode
Windows 10 Home in S Mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you need to install applications from outside the Microsoft Store, you can switch out of S Mode. This is a one-way process and cannot be reversed.
- Go to Settings > System > Activation.
- In the 'Switch to Windows 10 Home' or 'Switch to Windows 10 Pro' section, select Go to the Store.
- On the 'Switch out of S mode' (or similar) page that appears in the Microsoft Store, click the Get button.
