Setup
1. Placement
Place the soundbar directly in front of your television, centered for optimal audio dispersion. The wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere in the room, ideally within 10 feet of the soundbar for a stable wireless connection. Ensure both units have adequate ventilation.

2. Connections
Connect the soundbar to your television using either the HDMI ARC port or an optical cable. HDMI ARC is recommended for the best audio quality and control integration.
- HDMI ARC Connection: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (ARC) port on the soundbar and the other end to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
- Optical Connection: Connect an optical cable from the OPTICAL IN port on the soundbar to the optical digital audio output on your TV.

3. Power On and Subwoofer Pairing
Connect the power cords to the soundbar and the wireless subwoofer, then plug them into a power outlet. The soundbar and subwoofer should automatically pair. If they do not, refer to the Troubleshooting section for manual pairing instructions.
Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the power button on the soundbar or remote control.
- Volume Control: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the soundbar or remote to adjust volume.
- Source Selection: Press the source button on the soundbar or remote to cycle through HDMI, Optical, and Bluetooth inputs.

Bluetooth Streaming
To stream audio wirelessly from your mobile device or tablet:
- Press the Bluetooth button on the soundbar or remote control. The soundbar's display will show "BT Pairing".
- Enable Bluetooth on your device and select "JBL Bar 2.1" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the display will show "BT Connected". You can now play audio from your device through the soundbar.
Bass Control
The system features a dedicated bass boost for enhanced low-frequency performance. Use the remote control to adjust the subwoofer level to your preference.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your JBL soundbar system, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surfaces of the soundbar and subwoofer. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the finish.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings on both units are not blocked. Proper airflow prevents overheating.
- Storage: If storing the system for an extended period, disconnect it from power and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
