3. Safety Information

For external use only. Always ensure the clipper is unplugged before cleaning or maintenance. Keep out of reach of children. Do not immerse the clipper in water. This product is designed for use with USA plugs only (110-120V).

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Inspection

Upon opening, inspect all components for any damage. If any part appears damaged or tampered with, do not use the product and contact customer support.

4.2 Blade Oiling

Before first use, and regularly thereafter, apply a few drops of the provided clipper oil to the blades. Turn the clipper on for a few seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly. This ensures optimal cutting performance and blade longevity.

4.3 Attaching a Guide Comb

Select the desired color-coded attachment guard based on the hair length you wish to achieve. Align the guard with the clipper blade and firmly snap it into place. Ensure it is securely attached before operating the clipper.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Plug the clipper into a suitable electrical outlet. Use the side switch to turn the clipper ON (I) or OFF (O).

5.2 Hair Cutting Technique

For best results, cut hair when it is clean and dry. Move the clipper against the direction of hair growth. Use smooth, overlapping strokes for an even cut. The powerful motor ensures no-snag cutting.

5.3 Adjustable Taper Lever

The adjustable taper lever allows for easy blending and fading. Move the lever up for a closer cut and down for a longer cut. This feature is useful for blending hair between different guard lengths or for finishing edges.

5.4 Using Ear Taper Guides

The kit includes specific ear taper guides (left and right) to blend hair around the ears. Attach the appropriate guide and gently move the clipper around the ear, following the natural curve, to achieve a smooth transition from short to long hair.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Blades

After each use, remove the attachment guard and use the provided cleaning brush to brush away any loose hairs from the blades. For thorough cleaning, the blades can be removed (refer to the detailed instructions in the included manual for blade removal and reattachment).

6.2 Oiling the Blades

Regular oiling is crucial for maintaining the self-sharpening precision blades. Apply 2-3 drops of Wahl Clipper Oil across the top of the blades and 1 drop on each side of the blade set after every few haircuts. Run the clipper for a few seconds to distribute the oil.
