The WEGROWER DU-M40 is a versatile 3-in-1 device combining a metronome, tuner, and tone generator into a single, compact unit. Designed for musicians of all levels, it offers precise tuning, flexible rhythm practice, and convenient tone generation for a wide array of instruments.

Setup
1. Charging the Device
The DU-M40 comes with a USB charging cable. Connect the cable to the charging port on the device and to a power source (e.g., power bank, PC USB port). The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.

2. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button (labeled D/O) on the left side of the device to turn it on or off.
3. Attaching the Pickup Clip
For acoustic instruments, attach the included clip-on pickup to the headstock or soundboard of your instrument. Plug the 3.5mm jack of the pickup into the input port on the DU-M40.
4. Connecting Headphones (Optional)
For quiet practice, plug standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack on the side of the device.

Operating Instructions
1. Tuner Mode
Press the M/T button to switch to Tuner mode. The display will show the note, cent deviation, and A4 frequency.
- Tuning Instruments: Play a single note on your instrument. The display will indicate the detected note and whether it is flat (left side of meter), in tune (center), or sharp (right side of meter). Adjust your instrument's tuning until the needle is centered and the display turns green.
- A4 Calibration: Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to adjust the A4 frequency from 430Hz to 450Hz.
- Tuning Modes: Press the D/O button to cycle through different instrument tuning modes (Chromatic, Guitar, Bass, Violin, Ukulele, etc.) or specific key tunings (C, F, Bb, Eb).

2. Metronome Mode
Press the M/T button to switch to Metronome mode. The display will show tempo, beat, and rhythm.
- Adjusting Tempo: Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to set the desired tempo (30-250 bpm).
- Setting Beat: Press the Beat button to cycle through different beat patterns (0-9).
- Selecting Rhythms: Press the Music Note button to choose from 8 different rhythm types.
- Start/Stop: Press the Play/Pause button to start or stop the metronome.
- Adjusting Volume: Use the volume control knob on the side of the device to adjust the metronome's volume.

3. Tone Generator Mode
From Tuner mode, press the Play/Pause button to enter Tone Generator mode. The device will produce a continuous tone.
- Selecting Notes: Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to cycle through different notes (e.g., C, C#, D, etc.).
- Adjusting Volume: Use the volume control knob on the side of the device to adjust the tone's volume.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
Storage
Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged.
Battery Care
The device uses a built-in Lithium Polymer battery. To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently and do not leave it uncharged for long periods.
Troubleshooting
- Device Not Powering On: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a USB power source and try again.
- Tuner Inaccuracy: Check that the pickup clip is securely attached to the instrument or that the microphone/cable input is properly connected. Ensure you are in the correct tuning mode for your instrument.
- No Sound from Metronome/Tone Generator: Check the volume level using the side knob. Ensure headphones are not plugged in if you intend to use the built-in speaker, or that headphones are properly connected if you intend to use them.
- Display Issues: If the screen is unresponsive or shows abnormal characters, try resetting the device by gently pressing the reset button (small hole on the back) with a thin object like a paperclip.
