5. Installation (Setup)
5.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
- Ensure you have all necessary tools: safety glasses, gloves, tape measure, pencil, jigsaw, drill, silicone sealant, mounting clips, and a level.
- Confirm the cabinet opening size is appropriate for the sink dimensions.
- Inspect the sink for any manufacturing defects or shipping damage.
5.2 Countertop Cutout
- Place the provided template on the underside of your countertop in the desired sink location.
- Trace the outline of the template onto the countertop.
- Carefully cut along the traced line using a jigsaw or appropriate cutting tool for your countertop material.

5.3 Mounting the Sink
- Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the perimeter of the sink opening on the underside of the countertop.
- Carefully lift the sink and position it into the countertop opening from below, ensuring it is centered and aligned.
- Attach the mounting clips to the sink rim and secure them to the underside of the countertop according to the manufacturer's instructions. Tighten evenly to create a watertight seal.
- Wipe away any excess sealant immediately.
5.4 Plumbing Connections
- Install the sink strainer assembly into the drain opening, ensuring a proper seal with plumber's putty or silicone.
- Connect the drain pipe to the strainer. If installing a garbage disposal, follow the disposal manufacturer's instructions for connection to the sink drain.
- Connect the faucet and water supply lines according to the faucet manufacturer's instructions.
- Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks at all connection points.
