3. Product Overview
The Philips T2205 headphones are designed for wireless audio playback and hands-free calls. They feature an IPX4 splash-resistant design, making them suitable for various activities.

3.1 Earbud Components

4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Headphones and Case
- Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated in their respective slots (L for left, R for right).
- Connect the USB-C end of the charging cable to the port on the charging case.
- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The LED indicators on the charging case will illuminate to show charging progress. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
The earbuds provide up to 4 hours of playtime on a single charge, and the charging case provides an additional 8 hours, totaling 12 hours of playtime. A 15-minute charge in the case can provide approximately 1 hour of playtime.
4.2 Pairing with a Bluetooth Device
The headphones are ready to pair instantly when taken out of their charging case.
- Ensure the earbuds are charged.
- Open the charging case and remove both earbuds. They will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED on one of the earbuds.
- On your Bluetooth device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Philips T2205" from the list of found devices.
- Once connected, the LED indicator on the earbud will stop flashing or show a steady light, depending on the model.
The headphones will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when removed from the case, if Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
- Remove ear tips and clean them with mild soap and water if necessary. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
- Gently clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case with a dry cotton swab to ensure proper connection.
6.2 Storage
- Always store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged.
- Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
6.3 Water Resistance (IPX4)
The headphones are IPX4-rated, meaning they are resistant to splashing water from any direction. They are not designed for submersion in water or exposure to pressurized water jets. Ensure the earbuds are dry before placing them back into the charging case to prevent damage.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Philips T2205 headphones, refer to the following common solutions:
- No Power/Not Charging:
- Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
- Check if the charging contacts on the earbuds and inside the case are clean and free of debris.
- Verify the power source is functional.
- Cannot Pair/Connect:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the headphones are in pairing mode (LED flashing).
- Turn off Bluetooth on your device, then turn it back on.
- Forget/remove "Philips T2205" from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to pair again.
- Ensure the headphones are sufficiently charged.

- No Sound/Poor Sound Quality:
