  2. Connect Components:
    • Connect the power adapter to the IR receiver box.
    • Connect the LED strip lights to the IR receiver box. Ensure the arrows on the strip connector and the IR receiver are aligned. Important: If the lights do not turn on, try reversing the connection of the 4-pin connector to the IR receiver, as there is a specific positive/negative orientation.
  3. Remove Remote Battery Tab: Before first use, pull out the transparent plastic tab from the battery compartment of the 44-key IR remote control.
  4. Adhere LED Strips: Carefully peel off the protective backing from the 3M self-adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip. Press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface. Avoid repositioning the strip multiple times, as this can weaken the adhesive.

5. Maintenance and Care

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your LED strip lights:

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strips with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they can damage the LEDs or the protective coating.
  • Handling: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the LED strips, especially near the connection points, as this can damage the internal circuitry.
  • Storage: If storing the lights for an extended period, ensure they are clean and dry. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Adhesive Care: The self-adhesive tape is designed for a single, firm application. Repeated removal and reapplication may reduce its stickiness.
