2. Safety Instructions
To ensure safe operation and prevent injury or damage, please adhere to the following safety guidelines:
- Adult Assembly Required: This product requires adult assembly. Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
- Stable Surface: Always place the swing bench on a flat, stable, and level surface to prevent tipping.

4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the vidaXL 3-Seater Garden Swing Bench is required. It is recommended to assemble the product with at least two adults. Clear a spacious area for assembly and lay out all components on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and identify them against the package contents list.
- Assemble Base Frame: Begin by assembling the main base frame of the swing bench using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are finger-tight at this stage.
- Attach Upright Supports: Connect the upright supports that will hold the swing and the canopy to the base frame.
- Assemble Swing Seat: Construct the swing seat component, ensuring the poly rattan weaving is securely attached to its frame.
- Hang Swing Seat: Carefully lift and attach the assembled swing seat to the upright supports using the hanging springs and hooks.

- Install Canopy Frame and Fabric: Assemble the canopy frame and attach it to the top of the upright supports. Then, stretch and secure the textilene canopy fabric over the frame.

- Tighten All Connections: Once all components are in place, systematically tighten all bolts and nuts using the provided tools. Do not overtighten.
- Place Cushions: Position the seat cushion and pillows on the swing bench.

5. Operating Instructions
Using your vidaXL Garden Swing Bench is straightforward. Follow these guidelines for optimal enjoyment:
- Seating: Gently sit on the swing bench. Avoid sudden movements or jumping onto the seat. The bench is designed for up to three individuals.
- Swinging Motion: Initiate a gentle swinging motion by pushing off the ground with your feet. Avoid excessive or violent swinging, which could strain the frame or cause instability.
- Canopy Adjustment: The canopy can be adjusted to provide optimal shade throughout the day. Loosen the adjustment knobs (if applicable) on the canopy frame, reposition the canopy to your desired angle, and then tighten the knobs to secure it.

6. Maintenance

- Cleaning Poly Rattan and Steel Frame: Wipe down the poly rattan and powder-coated steel frame with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely to prevent water spots or rust. Avoid abrasive cleaners or brushes.

- Cushion Care: The cushion covers are removable for easy cleaning. Follow the care instructions on the cushion labels. For general cleaning, spot clean with a mild detergent and water. Allow to air dry completely before reattaching or storing. Store cushions indoors during inclement weather or prolonged periods of non-use to protect them from fading and wear.
- Canopy Care: Clean the textilene canopy fabric with a soft brush and mild soapy water. Rinse well and allow to air dry.
