Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using this heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This heater has an automatic Overheat Protection system. If the heater overheats, the system will shut the heater off.
  • This heater is equipped with a Tip-Over Protection switch. If the heater is accidentally knocked over, it will automatically shut off.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain the packaging for off-season storage.

  2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater from any combustible materials. Do not place on soft surfaces like carpets or rugs that may block the air intake.
  3. Power Connection: Ensure the heater is in the "OFF" position before plugging it into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

Operating Instructions

The heater features two control knobs on the top for easy operation.

  1. Power On/Mode Selection:
    • Turn the Mode Control Knob (right knob) to select your desired setting:
      • 0 (OFF): Turns the heater off.
      • Fan Only (☆): Operates as a fan, blowing cool air.
      • Low Heat (I): Provides 750W of heating power.
      • High Heat (II): Provides 1500W of heating power.
  2. Adjusting Thermostat:
    • Turn the Thermostat Control Knob (left knob) clockwise to increase the desired temperature or counter-clockwise to decrease it. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
    • The adjustable temperature range is 0℉ to 158℉.
  3. Safety Features in Operation:
    • If the heater tips over, the Tip-Over Protection will automatically shut it off. Place it upright on a stable surface to resume operation.
    • If the heater overheats, the Overheat Protection will shut it off. Unplug the heater, allow it to cool down for 10-15 minutes, and then plug it back in. If it still doesn't work, contact customer support.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your heater.

  • Cleaning: Always unplug the heater from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater. Do not use cleaning sprays, abrasive cleaners, or polishes as they may damage the heater.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry location. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
  • Air Intake/Exhaust: Periodically check the air intake and exhaust openings for dust or lint buildup. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove any debris. Do not attempt to open the heater for internal cleaning.

Troubleshooting

If your heater is not operating correctly, please check the following common issues before contacting customer support.

  • Thermostat set too low.
  • Heater is in Fan Only mode.
  • Increase the thermostat setting.
  • Ensure the Mode Control Knob is set to "Low Heat (I)" or "High Heat (II)".
Heater suddenly stops operating.
  • Overheat Protection activated.
  • Tip-Over Protection activated.
  • Unplug, cool down, then restart.
  • Ensure heater is upright on a stable surface.
