3. Setup
3.1 Battery Charging and Installation
- Connect the charger to a power outlet.
- Insert the 18V 2.0Ah Li-ion battery into the charger. The battery typically charges in approximately one hour.
- Once charged, slide the battery pack firmly into the base of the circular saw until it clicks into place.
3.2 Blade Installation
Ensure the battery is removed before changing the blade.

- Using the provided hex key, loosen and remove the blade screw and outer flange.

- Replace the outer flange and blade screw. While still holding the spindle lock button, tighten the blade screw securely with the hex key.
3.3 Parallel Guide Attachment

The parallel guide assists in making straight cuts parallel to the edge of the workpiece.
- Slide the parallel guide into the slot on the front of the saw base plate.

3.4 Dust Extraction
For a cleaner work environment, attach the vacuum adapter to the dust outlet.
- Connect the vacuum adapter to the dust outlet port on the saw.
