4.1. Battery Installation and Charging

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

• Press and hold the Power Button to turn the walkie talkie ON or OFF.

• Press the Channel/Menu Button once. The channel number on the LCD will flash.
• Use the Up/Scan Button or Down/Monitor Button to select your desired channel.

5.3. Making a Call (Push-to-Talk)

• To transmit your voice, press and hold the Talk/Call Button. The TX icon will appear on the display.

• Release the Talk/Call Button to listen for a response. The RX icon will appear when receiving.

5.4. VOX Function (Voice Operated Exchange)

The VOX function allows for hands-free communication by automatically transmitting when it detects your voice.

• To activate/deactivate VOX, press the VOX Button. An indicator will appear on the LCD when active.
• When VOX is active, you do not need to press the Talk/Call button to transmit. Speak normally, and the walkie talkie will automatically send your signal.

5.5. Scanning Channels

• Press the Scan Button to start scanning active channels.
• The walkie talkie will stop on an active channel.
• Press the Scan Button again to resume scanning or the Talk/Call Button to transmit on the current channel.

• Press the Lamp Button to turn the LED torch ON/OFF.
