3. Door Reversal (Optional)
The door hinges are reversible, allowing the door to open from either the left or right side. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full PDF user manual for steps on how to reverse the door swing.
Operating Instructions
1. Temperature Control
The refrigerator features an adjustable mechanical thermostat control. The temperature range for the refrigerator compartment is 32°F to 47°F (0°C to 8°C), and for the chiller compartment, it is 27°F to 37°F (-3°C to 3°C). Turn the knob inside the refrigerator to adjust the temperature. Higher numbers on the dial indicate colder settings.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain the efficiency and appearance of your refrigerator. Unplug the appliance before cleaning. Use a soft cloth with a mild detergent and warm water to clean the interior and exterior surfaces. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. The removable shelves can be washed with soap and water.
2. Defrosting
This refrigerator features manual defrost. When frost accumulates to about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) thick, it is time to defrost. Turn the thermostat to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit. Remove all food items. Allow the frost to melt naturally. You can place a towel at the bottom to absorb water. Once defrosted, wipe the interior dry and restart the refrigerator.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Refrigerator does not operate. | Not plugged in; circuit breaker tripped; thermostat set to "OFF". | Ensure plug is secure; reset circuit breaker; adjust thermostat to a colder setting. |
| Temperature is too warm. | Door opened too frequently; warm food placed inside; poor air circulation; thermostat setting too high. | Minimize door openings; allow hot food to cool before storing; ensure proper clearance around unit; lower thermostat setting. |
| Excessive noise. | Unit not level; contact with wall/cabinet; normal operating sounds. | Adjust leveling legs; move unit away from contact points; gurgling/hissing sounds are normal refrigerant flow. |
| Door does not close properly. | Unit not level; gasket dirty/damaged; food packages obstructing. | Adjust leveling legs; clean/replace gasket; rearrange food items. |
