5. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your GIMILI Kitchen Faucet:

1. Prepare the Installation Area: Ensure the main water supply is turned off. Clear the area under the sink. Verify that your sink has a single mounting hole with a diameter of 1.4 inches. A minimum clearance of 21 inches is recommended between the cabinets and countertop for optimal faucet height.

2. Insert Faucet into Hole: Place the faucet body into the mounting hole on your sink or countertop.
3. Secure the Faucet: From underneath the sink, slide the rubber washer, metal washer, and mounting nut onto the threaded shank of the faucet. Tighten the mounting nut securely to hold the faucet in place.
4. Connect Water Supply Lines: Connect the pre-installed hot and cold supply hoses to your hot and cold water supply valves. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks. The hose length is 18 inches.

5. Attach Sprayer Hose Weight: Install the weight onto the pull-down hose, typically about 6-8 inches from the bottom of the loop, to ensure the sprayer retracts smoothly.
6. Test for Leaks: Once all connections are made, slowly turn on the main water supply and check for any leaks. Tighten connections as necessary.

6. Operating Instructions

• Water Flow and Temperature Control: Use the single handle to control both water flow volume and temperature. Lift the handle to increase flow, and move it left for hot water or right for cold water.
• Sprayer Function: The pull-down sprayer head offers two modes:
  • Stream Mode: Ideal for filling pots and general washing. The LED light functions in this mode, indicating water temperature.
  • Spray Mode: Provides a powerful spray for rinsing dishes and cleaning. The LED light does not function in this mode.
  Switch between modes using the button on the sprayer head.
• 360° Swivel Spout: The faucet spout can rotate 360 degrees, providing flexibility and reach for various sink tasks.

7. Maintenance and Care

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your GIMILI Kitchen Faucet:

• Cleaning: Clean the faucet regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the brushed nickel finish.
• Aerator Maintenance: If water flow becomes restricted, the aerator may be clogged. Unscrew the aerator from the sprayer head, clean any debris, and reattach.
• Hose Maintenance: Periodically check the pull-down hose for any kinks or obstructions that might impede its retraction.
