4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the soldering iron's internal battery. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging stand, and then connect the other end to a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). 5.3 Powering Off

Release the activation button to stop heating. If there is an ON/OFF switch, slide it to the 'OFF' position when finished. Always place the hot soldering iron back on its stand immediately after use and allow it to cool completely before storing.

6.1 Cleaning the Soldering Tip

Regularly clean the soldering tip to ensure optimal performance and longevity. While the tip is hot, wipe it on a damp sponge or brass wool cleaner to remove excess solder and oxidation. A clean, tinned tip will transfer heat more efficiently.

6.2 Tinning the Tip

Before and after each use, or if the tip becomes oxidized, "tin" the tip by melting a small amount of solder onto it. This protects the tip from oxidation and improves heat transfer.

6.3 General Cleaning

Wipe the body of the soldering iron with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the device is completely cool and disconnected from any power source before cleaning.
