4. System Overview
4.1. Receiver Unit
The receiver unit is the central component of the wireless system, designed to receive audio signals from up to eight belt-pack transmitters simultaneously. It features individual volume controls for each channel, AF & RF signal indicators, and multiple output options.

5. Setup
5.1. Receiver Installation
- Placement: Position the receiver in a central location, away from large metal objects or other wireless devices that may cause interference. For rack mounting, use the provided L-type frame to secure it in a standard 19" rack.
- Antennas: Screw the eight receiver antennas onto their respective connectors on the rear panel of the receiver (refer to Figure 1). Ensure they are securely tightened and positioned vertically for optimal signal reception.
- Power Connection: Connect the AC-DC power adapter to the receiver's power input and then plug it into a suitable power outlet. Do not power on the unit yet.
- Audio Output:
- For individual channel output, connect XLR cables from the receiver's individual XLR outputs (A, B, C, D, etc.) to your mixer or audio interface.
- For a mixed output of all channels, connect the 1/4" audio cable from the receiver's 1/4" Mixed output to your mixer or audio interface.
5.2. Belt-pack Transmitter and Headset Setup
- Battery Installation: Open the battery cover on each belt-pack transmitter (refer to Figure 2). Insert two (2) fresh AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery cover securely.
- Headset Connection: Connect each headset microphone to its corresponding belt-pack transmitter's headset input jack. Ensure the connection is firm.
- Wearing the System: Secure the belt-pack transmitter to the user's belt or clothing. Position the headset microphone comfortably on the user's head, with the microphone element positioned near the mouth for optimal sound capture.
5.3. Frequency Synchronization
The system features automatic transmitter setup for easy synchronization.
- Power on the receiver unit.
- Select the desired channel on the receiver using the channel selection buttons. The LCD display will show the selected frequency.
- Power on the belt-pack transmitter.
- Place the belt-pack transmitter close to the receiver's IR sync window (usually located on the front panel, though not explicitly shown in images).
- Initiate the synchronization process on the receiver (refer to the receiver's front panel controls for the specific sync button or menu option). The receiver will send the frequency information to the transmitter.
- Once synchronized, the transmitter's display should show the same frequency as the receiver, and the RF indicator on the receiver for that channel should illuminate, indicating a successful wireless link.
- Repeat this process for all eight channels/transmitters.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Powering On/Off
- Receiver: Use the power button on the front panel to turn the receiver ON or OFF.
- Transmitter: Use the ON/OFF switch on the belt-pack transmitter (refer to Figure 2).
6.2. Volume Control
Adjust the individual volume knobs on the receiver's front panel to control the output level of each microphone channel. Start with a low volume and gradually increase it to avoid feedback or distortion.
6.3. Channel Selection and Interference Avoidance
The system offers 100 selectable frequencies per channel. If you experience interference (static, dropouts, or unwanted signals), you can manually select a different frequency for the affected channel:
- On the receiver, navigate to the affected channel.
- Use the channel selection buttons to cycle through available frequencies until a clear one is found (monitor the RF signal indicator for stability).
- Once a new frequency is selected on the receiver, re-synchronize the corresponding belt-pack transmitter as described in Section 5.3.
6.4. Operating Range
The typical operating range is up to 80 meters (approximately 260 feet) under optimal conditions. Obstacles such as walls, metal structures, and other wireless devices can reduce this range. Maintain a clear line of sight between the transmitters and the receiver antennas whenever possible.
7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning
- Wipe the receiver and transmitters with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or solvents, as these may damage the finish or internal components.
- For headset microphones, gently clean the foam windscreen if removable.
7.2. Battery Replacement
Replace AA batteries in the belt-pack transmitters when the low battery indicator appears on the transmitter's display or when audio quality degrades. Always use fresh, high-quality alkaline batteries for optimal performance and battery life (approximately 12 hours).
7.3. Storage
When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from the belt-pack transmitters to prevent leakage. Store the system in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
