Carefully remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape. Dispose of packaging responsibly. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.

3.4 Door Reversal
The door hinge is reversible, allowing for left or right-handed opening. Refer to the detailed instructions in the separate door reversal guide (if provided) or contact customer support for assistance with this procedure.
3.5 Power Connection
Plug the refrigerator into a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet. Allow the unit to stand for at least 2-4 hours before loading with food to allow refrigerants to settle.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Temperature Control
The refrigerator features easy-to-use mechanical temperature controls. Locate the temperature dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Adjust the dial to your desired cooling level. Higher numbers typically indicate colder settings. Allow several hours for the temperature to stabilize after adjustment.

4.2 Storage
- Adjustable Glass Shelves: The refrigerator compartment includes three adjustable glass shelves. These can be repositioned to accommodate items of various heights.
- Door Bins: Transparent door shelves provide convenient storage for smaller items and tall bottles.
- Crisper Bin: A dedicated crisper bin with a glass cover is located at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment to help maintain the freshness of fruits and vegetables.
- Freezer Compartment: The top freezer compartment includes one adjustable/removable wire shelf and a door bin for frozen foods.

4.3 Manual Defrost System
This refrigerator features a manual defrost system for the freezer compartment. When frost accumulates to a thickness of approximately 1/4 inch (6 mm), the freezer should be defrosted. To defrost:
- Remove all food items from the freezer and place them in a cooler.
- Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet.
- Leave the freezer door open to allow frost to melt naturally. Place towels on the floor to catch any water.
- Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to remove frost, as this can damage the cooling system.
- Once all frost has melted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
- Plug the refrigerator back in and allow it to cool for several hours before returning food items.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Interior: Clean the interior regularly with a solution of mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Remove shelves and bins for easier cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent. For the chrome handles, use a non-abrasive cleaner.
- Door Gaskets: Clean door gaskets regularly to ensure a proper seal.
- Condenser Coils: Periodically vacuum the condenser coils at the back of the unit to maintain efficiency.
5.2 Power Outage
In case of a power outage, keep the refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible to maintain internal temperatures. Food should remain frozen for approximately 24 hours if the doors are kept closed.
5.3 Moving the Appliance
When moving the refrigerator, secure all loose items inside. Lift the unit by its base, avoiding lifting by the doors or handles. Ensure the unit is upright during transport.
6. Troubleshooting
Before contacting service, review the following common issues and solutions:
- Refrigerator does not operate: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in. Verify the circuit breaker or fuse. Ensure the temperature control is not set to 'OFF'.
- Temperature is too warm: Adjust the temperature control to a colder setting. Ensure the doors are closing completely and not being opened too frequently. Check for proper ventilation around the unit.
- Unusual noises: Minor noises from the compressor or refrigerant flow are normal. Ensure the unit is level and not touching a wall or other appliance.
- Excessive frost in freezer: This indicates a need for manual defrosting. Ensure the freezer door is sealing properly.
- Water on floor: Check if the defrost drain is clogged (if applicable) or if the unit requires defrosting. Ensure the refrigerator is level.
If problems persist after attempting these solutions, contact qualified service personnel.
