Setup and Installation

  2. Attach Mounting Strap: Secure the mounting strap (A) to the outlet box using the provided outlet box screws (B). Ensure the strap is firmly attached.
  3. Make Electrical Connections:
    • Connect the bare copper ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the outlet box (usually bare copper or green) using a wire nut.
    • Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the outlet box using a wire nut.
    • Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the outlet box using a wire nut.
    • Carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.
  4. Mount the Fixture: Align the fixture's backplate with the mounting strap. Secure the fixture to the mounting strap using the decorative nuts (C) provided.
  5. Install the Bulb: Insert one (1) E26 Medium base bulb (not included) into the socket. Do not exceed the maximum wattage of 60W.
  6. Install the Glass Shade: Carefully place the white alabaster glass shade onto the fixture, securing it according to the design (typically by aligning with retaining clips or screws).

Operating Instructions

Once installed, restore power at the circuit breaker. The Livex Lighting Wynnewood Wall Sconce is operated via a standard wall switch (Toggle switch type). Simply flip the wall switch to turn the light on or off.
