1. Important Safeguards

Please read all instructions carefully before using this appliance. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage before connecting.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to 'off', then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • Avoid contact with moving parts.
  • Do not overfill the pot beyond the maximum fill line.
  • Always ensure the lid is securely closed during operation.
  • Use caution when dispensing hot water to prevent burns.

2. Product Overview

3. Setup

Initial Use:

  1. Unpack the electric pot and all accessories.
  2. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
  3. Remove the detachable lid and wash the interior stainless steel pot with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  4. Fill the pot with water up to the MAX line.
  5. Boil the water once and discard it to remove any manufacturing residues. Repeat this process 2-3 times for optimal cleanliness.

Connecting Power:

Connect the power cord to the appliance and then plug it into a standard 240V AC electrical outlet.

Battery Pack Installation (for outdoor dispensing):

Locate the battery compartment, typically at the base or side of the unit. Insert the specified batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings. This allows for dispensing without a direct power supply.

4. Operating Instructions

Filling the Pot:

Open the lid and fill the pot with water. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line indicated on the water level gauge. Close the lid securely.

Boiling Water:

  1. Ensure the pot is filled with water and plugged in.
  2. Press the BOIL button. The appliance will begin heating the water to 100°C.
  3. Once boiling is complete, the pot will automatically switch to the selected keep warm temperature.

Setting Keep Warm Temperature:

  1. After boiling, the pot will maintain a default keep warm temperature.
  2. To adjust, press the KEEP WARM button.
  3. Use the + and buttons to select your desired temperature between 45°C and 90°C.
  4. The internal ventilation fan will activate to speed up the cooling process if a lower temperature is selected.

Dispensing Water:

The electric pot features a safety lock to prevent accidental dispensing. Always unlock before dispensing.

  1. Press the UNLOCK button to enable dispensing.
  2. Place a cup or container under the dispenser spout.
  3. For Preset Volumes: Press the PRESET button to cycle through 250ml and 400ml options, then press the DISPENSE button.
  4. For Manual Dispensing: Press and hold the MANUAL DISPENSE button for continuous flow. Release to stop.

Quick Cool Function:

If you need to cool the water down faster to a specific keep warm temperature, press the QUICK COOL button. The internal fan will operate more actively to reduce the water temperature.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your electric pot.

Exterior Cleaning:

  • Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
  • Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Interior Cleaning (Hand Wash):

  • Ensure the pot is unplugged and cool.
  • Remove the detachable lid for easier access.
  • Wash the stainless steel interior with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or brush.
  • Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
  • Dry the interior completely before reassembling the lid and storing or reusing.

Descaling:

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the pot, especially in hard water areas. Descale regularly (e.g., monthly or bi-monthly) to maintain efficiency.

  1. Fill the pot with a solution of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) or a commercial descaling agent according to product instructions.
  2. Boil the solution and let it sit for 30-60 minutes (or as recommended by the descaler).
  3. Discard the solution and rinse the interior thoroughly several times with fresh water to remove any residue and odor.

6. Troubleshooting
