Assembly and Setup
- Attach the Hose: Insert the flexible hose into the air inlet opening on the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
- Connect the Telescopic Tube: Attach the telescopic metal tube to the handle end of the flexible hose. Extend the tube to your desired length by pressing the release button and pulling.
- Attach the Floor Nozzle: Connect the floor nozzle to the end of the telescopic tube. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Power Connection: Pull out the power cord from the rear of the unit. Insert the plug into a suitable electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off: Press the power button located on the main unit to turn the vacuum cleaner on or off.
- Adjust Suction Power: Rotate the power control dial (if present) on the main unit or the air flow regulator on the hose handle to adjust the suction power according to the cleaning task.
- Cleaning: Guide the floor nozzle over the surface to be cleaned. For hard-to-reach areas, detach the floor nozzle and use appropriate attachments (e.g., crevice tool, upholstery brush, if included).
- Automatic Cord Rewind: After use, unplug the power cord from the outlet. Press the cord rewind button on the main unit, and the cord will automatically retract into the appliance. Guide the cord gently to prevent whipping.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.
Emptying the Dust Cup
- Ensure the vacuum cleaner is unplugged.
- Press the dust cup release button and lift the dust cup from the main unit.
- Position the dust cup over a waste bin and open the bottom lid to empty the collected dirt and debris.
- Close the lid securely and reattach the dust cup to the vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning the Washable HEPA Filter
The HEPA filter is washable and designed for maximum fine dust filtration.
- With the dust cup removed, locate the HEPA filter inside.
- Carefully remove the HEPA filter.
- Rinse the filter under cold running water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergents or hot water.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting it. Ensure it is completely dry to prevent damage to the motor.
- Reinsert the dry HEPA filter into the dust cup and then reattach the dust cup to the vacuum cleaner.
General Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the vacuum cleaner with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Check the hose and nozzles for any blockages and remove them if found.
Troubleshooting
