Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Phenyx Pro PTX-20 mixer, regular maintenance is recommended.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the mixer's surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or internal components.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the mixer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture. Protect it from dust by covering it with a cloth or placing it back in its original packaging.
  • Connections: Periodically check all cable connections (XLR, 1/4'', USB) to ensure they are secure and free from damage. Loose connections can lead to signal loss or noise.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the mixer's ventilation openings are clear and unobstructed to prevent overheating. Do not place the mixer on soft surfaces that could block airflow.
