Before you begin, ensure all items are present in your package:

Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset.
  2. Slide the cover downwards to remove it.
  3. Connect the rechargeable Ni-MH battery pack plug into the jack inside the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Place the battery pack into the compartment.
  5. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks.

2. Connecting the Base Unit

  1. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the TEL LINE jack on the back of the main base unit.
  2. Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your telephone wall jack.
  3. Plug the small end of the AC power adapter into the DC IN 6V jack on the back of the main base unit.
  4. Plug the large end of the AC power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

3. Connecting Handset Chargers

For each additional handset, plug its AC power adapter into a standard electrical outlet and connect the small end to the DC IN jack on the back of the charger unit.

4. Charging Handsets

Place each handset face forward into its respective base unit or charger. The charge indicator on the handset should illuminate, indicating proper charging. Allow at least 15-20 hours for the initial charge before first use to ensure optimal battery performance.

Making and Receiving Calls

Hands-Free Speakerphone

To activate the speakerphone during a call, press the SPEAKER button. Press it again to switch back to the handset earpiece.
