Placement
Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 30 cm (12 inches) of clear space around the unit for proper airflow. Do not block the air inlets or outlets.
Exhaust Duct Installation
- Attach the connector to one end of the exhaust duct.
- Connect the other end of the exhaust duct to the air outlet port on the rear of the air conditioner.
- Install the window sealing panel in a partially open window.
- Extend the exhaust duct through the opening in the window sealing panel to vent hot air outside. Ensure the duct is as straight and short as possible to maximize efficiency.

Condensate Drainage
For continuous drainage, connect the provided condensate drain hose to the drainage outlet on the rear of the unit. Place the other end of the hose into a suitable container or floor drain. For intermittent drainage, the internal water tank will collect condensate, and the unit will indicate when it needs to be emptied.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Air Filter
Regular cleaning of the air filter is crucial for optimal performance. A dirty filter reduces airflow and cooling efficiency. Clean the filter every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage.
- Turn off the unit and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Locate the air filter panel, usually on the rear or side of the unit.
- Remove the filter.
- Wash the filter with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Draining Condensate
If not using continuous drainage, the internal water tank will fill up. When the tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an error code (refer to troubleshooting). To drain:
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Place a shallow pan or tray under the drainage outlet at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
Storage
Before storing the unit for an extended period:
- Ensure all condensate is drained.
- Clean the air filter.
- Run the unit in fan mode for a few hours to dry the internal components.
- Unplug the unit and coil the power cord.
- Store the unit in a dry, upright position, preferably in its original packaging.
