2. Safety Information

3.1 Components
The Airton Portable Reversible Air Conditioner includes the main unit, an exhaust hose, a condensation hose, and a window sealing kit.

3.3 Control Panel and Remote Control
The unit features a digital display for selecting functions and monitoring settings. A remote control is provided for convenient operation from a distance.
- Digital Display: Shows temperature, mode, and timer settings.
- Remote Control: Allows adjustment of mode, temperature, fan speed, and timer.
4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Positioning the Unit
- Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface.
- Ensure there is at least 30 cm (12 inches) of space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Position the unit near a window or opening for exhaust hose installation.

4.2 Exhaust Hose Installation
- Attach one end of the exhaust hose to the air outlet on the rear of the unit.
- Extend the exhaust hose to the nearest window or opening.
- Use the provided window sealing kit to secure the hose in the window opening, ensuring minimal air leakage.
- Ensure the exhaust hose is as straight and short as possible to maximize efficiency. Avoid sharp bends.
4.3 Condensation Hose Installation (Dehumidification Mode)
For continuous drainage during dehumidification mode, connect the condensation hose to the designated drainage outlet and direct it to a suitable drain or container.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Press the Power button on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit on or off.
5.2 Mode Selection
Press the Mode button to cycle through the available operating modes:
- Cooling Mode: For reducing room temperature. Set desired temperature using the Temperature Up/Down buttons.
- Heating Mode: For increasing room temperature. Set desired temperature.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or heating. Adjust fan speed as desired.
- Dehumidification Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air. The unit will operate at a fixed fan speed. Ensure the condensation hose is properly connected for continuous drainage.
5.3 Temperature Adjustment
In Cooling or Heating mode, use the Temperature Up (▲) and Temperature Down (▼) buttons to set your desired temperature.
5.4 Fan Speed Adjustment
Press the Fan Speed button to select between low, medium, and high fan speeds. This function is available in Cooling, Heating, and Fan modes.
5.5 Timer Function
The timer function allows you to program the unit to turn on or off automatically after a set period (up to 24 hours).
- Press the Timer button.
- Use the Temperature Up/Down buttons to set the desired delay in hours.
- Press the Timer button again to confirm.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.
6.1 Cleaning the Air Filter
- The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks, or more frequently depending on usage.
- Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Do not operate the unit without the air filter.
6.2 Draining Accumulated Water
During cooling and dehumidification, water will accumulate inside the unit. The unit has an internal self-evaporation system, but in high humidity conditions, manual drainage may be required.
- When the internal water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an error code (e.g., "FL").
- Place a shallow pan or tray under the drainage outlet at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug and allow the water to drain completely.
- Replace the drain plug securely before resuming operation.
6.3 Cleaning the Unit Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
