Product Overview

This conversion kit allows you to transform your compatible Rowen Convertible Crib by Simmon Kids or Delta Children into a full-size bed. It includes the necessary bed rails, slats, and hardware for assembly. This kit is designed to provide a safe and stable sleeping solution for your growing child.

Note: Additional slats and a full-size mattress are required and sold separately to complete the full-size bed conversion. A box spring can be used instead of additional slats, but this will result in a higher bed.

Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to convert your crib into a full-size bed. It is recommended to have two adults for assembly.

Step 1: Disassemble the Crib

Completely disassemble your Rowen Convertible Crib according to its original instruction sheet. Keep all bolts and the mattress support for future use. If starting from a toddler bed/daybed, retrieve your footboard from storage and proceed with the following steps.

Step 2: Attach Bed Rails to Headboard

Attach each bed rail to the headboard using 2 bolts with washers. Ensure a secure connection.

Step 3: Attach Bed Rails to Footboard

Attach the other end of the bed rails to the footboard in the same manner, using 2 bolts with washers for each rail. Verify all connections are tight.

Step 4: Attach Support Slats

Attach the 4 provided support slats using the 8 screws and a screwdriver. Recommended placement: Place one slat near the headboard, one near the footboard, and space the others evenly in between. Additional slats (sold separately) must be purchased to adequately support the mattress.

Using the Converted Bed

Once assembled, the crib is now a full-size bed. Ensure a full-size mattress is placed on the support slats. For younger children transitioning from a crib, consider purchasing a safety rail (sold separately) to prevent falls while allowing easy access to and from the bed.

Maintenance

To clean the bed rails and frame, simply wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the wood finish.

Troubleshooting

Issue: The conversion kit brackets do not fit your crib.

Solution: This conversion kit is designed to work with your specific crib model. However, due to different models and production runs, it's possible the brackets may not fit perfectly. If this occurs, please contact CC KITS for alternate brackets at no extra charge.
