1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your ZHONGJI Dual Touch Screen POS Cash Register, Model SET01 (NEW-CS3AD). This integrated system features a dual touch screen interface, a built-in 80MM thermal receipt printer, a weighing scale (0-15KG), and a barcode sticker label printer, designed for retail environments.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the POS system on a sturdy, flat counter or table. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

4.2 Connecting Power and Peripherals

1. Connect the power adapter to the power input port on the back of the unit, then plug it into a suitable power outlet.
2. Connect the provided keyboard and mouse to the available USB ports.
3. If connecting to a network, use an Ethernet cable to connect the LAN port to your network router or switch.

4.3 Initial Power-On and Software Configuration

1. Press the power button, usually located on the side or back of the main unit.
2. The system will boot up. Follow the on-screen prompts for initial Windows OS setup if required.
3. The MSJ POS-Software is pre-installed. Launch the software and follow the instructions to configure your business settings, product inventory, pricing, and user accounts.
4. Ensure the weighing scale and printers are recognized and calibrated within the POS software.

5. Operating Instructions

This section details the primary functions of the ZHONGJI POS system.

5.1 Basic POS Operations

• Billing/Order Management: Use the touch screen interface to select products from your inventory. Products can be added by tapping their icons, scanning barcodes, or manually entering product codes.
• Discount Application: Apply discounts to individual items or the total bill as configured in the software.
• Checkout: Process payments using various methods supported by your POS software.
• Customer Management: Access and manage customer information for loyalty programs or personalized services.

5.2 Using the Weighing Scale

The integrated weighing scale supports items up to 15KG. Place items directly on the scale platform. The weight will automatically register in the POS software for pricing calculations, especially for fruit, vegetables, and other weight-based products.

5.3 Barcode Scanning and Label Printing

The system includes a barcode sticker label printer. For items requiring a barcode label, select the item in the POS software and initiate the label printing function. The integrated printer will generate the necessary label.

5.4 Receipt Printing

After a transaction is completed, the built-in 80MM thermal receipt printer will automatically print a customer receipt. Ensure the paper roll is correctly loaded.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Regularly wipe the touch screens and exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure the weighing platform is clean and free of debris for accurate measurements.

6.2 Printer Maintenance

• Paper Loading: Open the printer cover, insert a new 80MM thermal paper roll, ensuring the paper feeds correctly through the slot, then close the cover.
• Print Head Cleaning: If print quality degrades, gently clean the thermal print head with a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Allow to dry completely before use.
