Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Airflow Control
The heat gun features a two-mode airflow switch:
- Mode I: Provides a temperature range of 140β-752β (60β-400β) with an airflow of 300L/min. This mode is suitable for lighter tasks.
- Mode II: Provides a temperature range of 140β-1112β (60β-600β) with an airflow of 500L/min. This mode is for heavier-duty applications requiring higher heat and airflow.
To operate:
- Set the airflow switch to either Mode I or Mode II.
- The heat gun will begin to heat up rapidly (approx. 1.5 seconds).
- To turn off, set the airflow switch to the "0" position.

Temperature Control
The black dial on the rear of the heat gun allows for variable temperature adjustment within the selected airflow mode. Rotate the dial clockwise to increase temperature and counter-clockwise to decrease it. The dial is marked from 1 to 5, with 5 being the maximum temperature.

Hands-Free Operation
The heat gun is designed with a flat base, allowing it to stand upright for hands-free operation. This is particularly useful for tasks requiring both hands, such as bending pipes or applying heat shrink tubing.

Applications
The SEEKONE Heat Gun is versatile and can be used for numerous tasks:
- Paint Stripping: Use the appropriate nozzle (e.g., large deflector) and scraper to remove old paint.
- Shrinking: Ideal for heat shrink tubing, shrinking wrap, and vinyl wrap.
- Bending Plastics: Soften PVC pipes or plastic sheets for bending and molding.
- Loosening Bolts: Apply heat to rusted or seized bolts to facilitate removal.
- Thawing: Safely thaw frozen pipes or locks.
- Crafts & Electronics: Drying ink, curing resins, soldering (with caution), and cell phone repairs.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the heat gun from the power supply before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Air Vents: Regularly check and clear the air intake and outlet vents of any dust or debris to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.
- Storage: Store the heat gun in a dry, safe place, out of reach of children. Ensure the tool is completely cool before storing.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Heat gun does not turn on. | No power supply; faulty switch. | Check power outlet and connections. Ensure switch is in Mode I or II. |
| Heat gun shuts off during use. | Overheat protection activated; blocked air vents. | Allow the tool to cool down. Clear any obstructions from air vents. |
| Insufficient heat output. | Incorrect temperature setting; low airflow. | Adjust temperature dial to a higher setting. Ensure airflow switch is in the desired mode. |
