3. Tonearm Assembly and Balance
- The AT-VM95E cartridge is pre-mounted on the AT-HS6 headshell. Attach the headshell to the tonearm by inserting it into the tonearm socket and turning the locking ring clockwise until secure.
- Gently remove the stylus protector.
- While holding the tonearm, rotate the counterweight onto the rear of the tonearm until it is approximately balanced.
- Release the tonearm and adjust the counterweight until the tonearm is perfectly level (floating freely).
- Once balanced, hold the counterweight stationary and rotate only the tracking force ring until the "0" aligns with the center line on the tonearm.
- Rotate the counterweight (including the ring) counter-clockwise to set the recommended tracking force for the AT-VM95E cartridge, which is 2.0 grams.

4. Anti-Skate Adjustment
Set the anti-skate control to the same value as the tracking force (2.0 for the AT-VM95E cartridge). This helps prevent the stylus from skipping inwards or outwards across the record.
5. Connections
- Audio Output (RCA): Connect the included RCA cable to the PHONO/LINE output jacks on the turntable and to your amplifier or powered speakers.
- If connecting to an amplifier with a dedicated PHONO input, set the PHONO/LINE selector switch on the turntable's rear panel to PHONO.
- If connecting to an amplifier's LINE input (AUX, CD, etc.) or powered speakers, set the PHONO/LINE selector switch to LINE.
- USB Output: Connect the USB cable from the turntable to an available USB port on your computer for digital recording.
- Power: Connect the AC adapter to the DC IN 12V jack on the turntable and then plug it into a wall outlet.

5. Pitch Control and Quartz Lock
The turntable features a pitch change slider control with a +/-10% adjustment range. This allows for fine-tuning the playback speed. The quartz-controlled pitch lock ensures accurate, stable rotation speed when engaged.
6. Stylus Target Light
A removable plug-type stylus target light is included to illuminate the stylus tip, aiding in precise cueing in low-light conditions.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Stylus: Use a soft brush, moving from back to front, to gently remove dust and debris from the stylus tip. Clean regularly.
- Records: Keep your records clean using a record brush or cleaning solution to prevent dust accumulation and improve sound quality.
- Turntable Body and Dust Cover: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals.
