3. Setup

1. Unpack the Converter: Carefully remove the converter and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Place the Converter: Position the converter on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation. Ensure no objects block the heat output vents on the sides.
3. Select Input Voltage: Locate the Input Voltage Selector switch on the rear panel. CRITICAL: Set this switch to match the voltage of your wall outlet (e.g., 110V-120V if plugging into a US outlet, or 220V-240V if plugging into a European outlet). Incorrect selection will damage the unit and connected appliances.

4. Connect Power Cord: Plug the detachable power cord into the AC Input Port on the rear of the converter. Then, plug the other end of the power cord into your wall outlet.
5. Power On: Flip the red ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. The green 'POWER' LED on the front panel will illuminate, indicating the unit is ready for use.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the converter is powered on and the green LED is lit, you can connect your appliances.

1. Identify Appliance Voltage: Check the voltage requirement of your appliance.
2. Select Correct Output Socket:
   • If your appliance requires 110V-120V, plug it into one of the 110V-120V output sockets (typically labeled 'US outlets').
   • If your appliance requires 220V-240V, plug it into one of the 220V-240V universal output sockets.
3. Power On Appliance: Turn on your appliance.

Important Wattage Considerations:

• Always ensure the total power consumption of all connected appliances does not exceed the converter's 800W rating.
• For appliances with motors (e.g., blenders, vacuum cleaners), the startup wattage can be 2-7 times higher than the rated wattage. Consider this surge when selecting a converter.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your converter, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• No Power (Power LED Off):
  • Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the converter and the wall outlet.
  • Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Verify the wall outlet is functioning by plugging in another device.
• Appliance Not Working (Power LED On):
  • Confirm the appliance is plugged into the correct voltage output socket (110V-120V or 220V-240V).
  • Check if the appliance's power consumption exceeds the converter's 800W rating.
  • Inspect the resettable circuit breaker buttons on the rear panel. If a button has popped out, it indicates an overload. Reduce the load and press the button to reset it.
