3. Setup
- Unpack the foot warmer and check for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact customer support.
- Place the foot warmer on a flat, stable surface, ensuring there is enough space around it and the power cord is not obstructed.
- Ensure the control unit is securely connected to the foot warmer.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable mains socket (220-240V ~ 50/60Hz).
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Turning On and Selecting Heat Setting
- Once plugged in, insert your feet into the foot warmer.
- To turn on the foot warmer, slide the switch on the control unit to the desired heat setting. The foot warmer has 6 temperature levels.
- The indicator light on the control unit will illuminate, indicating the foot warmer is active.
- The rapid heating function will quickly bring the foot warmer to the selected temperature.
4.2 Automatic Shut-off
For safety, the Sanitas SFW 12 Foot Warmer automatically switches off after approximately 90 minutes of continuous operation. To restart the foot warmer, slide the switch to the "0" (off) position and then back to your desired heat setting.
4.3 Turning Off
To turn off the foot warmer manually, slide the switch on the control unit to the "0" position. The indicator light will turn off. Unplug the foot warmer from the mains socket when not in use.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Plush Lining
The plush lining is removable and hand-washable.
- Ensure the foot warmer is unplugged and completely cool.
- Carefully detach the plush lining from the main unit.
- Hand wash the lining in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reattaching to the foot warmer.
5.2 Cleaning the Exterior
The exterior of the foot warmer can be wiped clean.
- Ensure the foot warmer is unplugged and completely cool.
- Wipe the exterior surface with a slightly damp, soft cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or immerse the foot warmer in water.

6. Storage
