Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the toaster and all packaging materials. Retain packaging for future storage or transport if needed.
- Placement: Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials such as curtains or walls. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
- First Use: Before first use, operate the toaster without bread for a few cycles at the highest browning setting to burn off any manufacturing residues. This may produce a slight odor and smoke, which is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage rating of the toaster matches your local power supply.
Operating Instructions
Toasting Bread
- Insert Bread: Place up to two slices of bread into the toasting slots. The self-centering feature will hold the bread in the center for even browning.
- Select Browning Setting: Turn the browning control dial to your desired setting (1-8). Setting 1 is for light toast, and setting 8 is for very dark toast. Adjust based on bread type and personal preference.
- Start Toasting: Press the carriage lever down until it locks into place. The toaster will begin toasting.
- Cancel Toasting: To stop toasting at any time, press the "STOP" button. The carriage will automatically pop up.
- Remove Toast: Once toasting is complete, the toast will automatically pop up. Use the high-lift feature by pushing the carriage lever further up to safely remove smaller pieces of bread.
Using the Bun Warming Rack
The integrated bun warming rack is ideal for heating rolls, pastries, or buns.

- Monitor: Monitor the warming process closely to prevent burning. Press the "STOP" button when desired warmth is achieved.
- Retract Rack: After use, push the bun warming rack lever down to retract the rack.
Reheat and Defrost Functions

- Defrost Function: To toast frozen bread, insert the frozen bread, select your desired browning setting, and press the carriage lever down. The toaster will automatically adjust the toasting time to defrost and then toast the bread.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the toaster from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the surface.
- Crumb Tray: The toaster features a removable crumb tray for easy cleaning.
- Pull out the crumb tray from the bottom of the toaster.
- Empty the crumbs into a waste bin.
- Wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Slide the crumb tray back into place until it locks securely.
Note: Empty the crumb tray regularly to prevent crumb buildup, which can be a fire hazard.
- Inside the Toaster: Do not insert any objects into the toasting slots to clean them. If food becomes lodged, unplug the toaster and carefully remove the food after it has cooled.
Troubleshooting
