Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the cooktop from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the cooktop on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clear space around the unit for proper ventilation.
  3. Leveling: Adjust the leveling legs on the bottom of the unit to ensure it sits evenly and stably on the counter.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off:
    • Press the On/Off button to turn the unit on. The display will illuminate.
    • Press the On/Off button again to turn the unit off.
  2. Cookware Detection: Place induction-compatible cookware on the center of the cooking zone. The unit will automatically detect the cookware. If no cookware is detected within a few seconds, the unit will display an error and shut off.
  3. Adjusting Power (Wattage):
    • After turning on, press the Watt button.
    • Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrows to select one of the 9 power levels.
  4. Adjusting Temperature:
    • Press the Temp button.
    • Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrows to select a temperature between 150°F and 450°F (in 25°F increments).
    • The unit will cycle on and off to maintain the selected temperature.
  5. Setting the Timer:
    • Press the Timer button.
    • Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrows to set the desired cooking time.
    • Once the timer expires, the cooktop will automatically shut off.
