1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read this manual carefully before operating the appliance and keep it for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

4. Package Contents

Upon unpacking, please ensure all items are present and in good condition:

5. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the evaporative cooler and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired room. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (at least 20 cm from walls or furniture).
3. Fill Water Tank:
   • Locate the removable water tank at the bottom front of the unit.
   • Pull out the tank gently.
   • Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line.
   • For enhanced cooling, place the provided ice packs (after freezing them) into the water tank.
   • Slide the water tank back into the unit until it clicks securely into place.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

The Cecotec EnergySilence 2000 Cool Tower Smart can be operated using either the touch control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

6.1. Control Panel / Remote Control Functions

• Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
• Speed Button (≡): Cycles through 3 fan speeds: Low, Medium, High.
• Mode Button (☼): Selects operating mode:
  • Normal: Constant airflow at selected speed.
  • Sleep: Reduces fan speed and noise for quiet operation, ideal for nighttime.
  • Eco: Optimizes power consumption for energy efficiency.
• Oscillation Button (↻): Activates or deactivates the 60-degree oscillation function, distributing air more widely.
• Timer Button (⏱): Sets the auto-off timer in 1-hour increments, up to 8 hours. Each press adds 1 hour.
• Cooling/Humidification Button (💧): Activates or deactivates the evaporative cooling function (water pump).

6.2. Initial Operation

1. Ensure the water tank is filled and the unit is plugged in.
2. Press the Power button to turn on the unit. The LED display will show the ambient temperature.
3. Press the Cooling/Humidification button to activate the evaporative cooling function.
4. Adjust the fan speed using the Speed button.
5. Select a mode (Normal, Sleep, Eco) using the Mode button.
6. Activate oscillation if desired using the Oscillation button.
7. Set the timer if you want the unit to turn off automatically after a set period.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your evaporative cooler.

• Cleaning the Water Tank:
  • Unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
  • Clean the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Allow the tank to air dry completely before reinserting.
  • Clean the water tank at least once a week, or more frequently if used daily.
• Cleaning the Air Filter:
  • The air filter is located at the rear of the unit.
  • Gently remove the filter.
  • Clean the filter with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. If heavily soiled, rinse with water and mild detergent, then allow to dry completely before reinserting.
  • Clean the air filter every two weeks, or as needed.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the unit is dry. Store in a cool, dry place.
