This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient use of your Censinda LED Camping Lantern and Rechargeable Flashlight, Model 5800. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation and retain it for future reference.
2. Safety Information
- Do not overcharge the device. Charging time should not exceed 4 hours.
- Keep away from water. This product is not water-resistant.
- Do not stare directly into the LED light when activated to avoid eye strain.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Use only specified batteries (3 Lithium Ion batteries).

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Unscrew the bottom cap of the lantern.
- Insert 3 AAA Lithium Ion batteries according to the polarity indicators.
- Securely screw the bottom cap back into place.
5.2 Initial Charging
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the lantern using the provided USB cable.
- Connect the small end of the USB cable to the USB input port on the lantern.
- Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The charging indicator light will remain red during charging.
- A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours. Do not overcharge.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Using the Lantern Mode
- Hold the base of the lantern firmly.
- Gently pull the top section upwards to extend the lantern. The LED lights will illuminate automatically.
- Adjust the brightness by partially collapsing or extending the lantern body.
- To turn off the lantern, fully collapse the top section back into the base.

6.2 Using the Flashlight Mode
- Ensure the lantern is fully collapsed.
- Locate the flashlight control button on the side of the unit.
- Press the button once to turn on the flashlight.
- Press the button again to turn off the flashlight.

6.3 Using the Handles and Magnets
- The two metal handles on the sides can be used to carry the lantern or hang it from a hook.
- The integrated hook on the bottom (when the lantern is collapsed) can also be used for hanging.
- The magnets on the base allow the lantern to be securely attached to metallic surfaces for hands-free lighting.
7. Charging the Lantern
7.1 Solar Charging
- Place the lantern with the solar panel facing direct sunlight.
- The charging indicator light will remain red during solar charging.
- Solar charging time depends on the intensity of sunlight.

7.2 USB Cable Charging
- Refer to section 5.2 for detailed USB charging instructions.
- The charging indicator light will remain red when charging.
- Avoid overcharging to prolong battery life.
7.3 Power Bank Function
- The USB output port can be used to charge small electronic devices (e.g., smartphones) in emergency situations.
- Connect your device's charging cable to the USB output port on the lantern.
8. Maintenance
- Clean the exterior of the lantern with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Store the lantern in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged and recharge periodically to maintain battery health.
