Setup

  1. Attach Microfiber Pad: Place the microfiber cleaning pad onto the bottom of the steam mop's triangular swivel head. Ensure it is securely attached via the Velcro strips.
  2. Fill Water Tank:
    • Lay the mop flat.
    • Open the water tank cap.
    • Use the provided measuring cup to fill the 350ml water tank with distilled or demineralized water. Do not overfill.
    • Securely close the water tank cap.

  3. Connect Power: Plug the 13-foot power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet. The power light indicator will illuminate.

Operating Instructions

The OVENTE Steam Mop is ready for use once the water tank is filled and it is plugged in. It heats up quickly to produce steam.

  1. Pre-heating: Allow the steam mop to pre-heat for a few seconds after plugging it in. The power light indicator will show it's ready.
  2. Steam Activation: Press the light-touch power button to activate steam release. The mop will release continuous steam for up to 15 minutes per tank fill.
  3. Cleaning Hard Floors:
    • Move the steam mop slowly and steadily across your hardwood, marble, tile, or stone floors.
    • The triangular swivel head allows for easy maneuvering around furniture and into corners.
    • For stubborn spots, hold the mop over the area for a few seconds to allow the steam to penetrate.

  4. Cleaning Carpets:
    • Attach the included carpet glider over the microfiber pad.
    • Move the steam mop over your carpets to refresh and sanitize them.

  5. Refilling During Use: If the water tank runs empty during cleaning, simply unplug the unit, refill the tank as per step 2 in Setup, and plug it back in to continue.
  6. Finishing Cleaning: When finished, unplug the steam mop from the electrical outlet.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your OVENTE Steam Mop.

  • Empty Water Tank: After each use, unplug the mop and allow it to cool. Empty any remaining water from the tank.
  • Clean Microfiber Pad:
    • Detach the microfiber cleaning pad from the mop head.
    • The pad can be washed by hand or in a washing machine. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
    • Allow the pad to air dry completely before storing or re-using.

  • Store Properly: Use the built-in cord storage wrap to neatly store the power cord. Store the steam mop in a cool, dry place.
  • Descaling (Periodic): If you notice reduced steam output, mineral buildup may be occurring. Consult the OVENTE customer support for specific descaling instructions.
