2. Safety Information

WARNING: To prevent fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these safety precautions:

  • Do not connect improperly. Ensure correct polarity when inserting the battery.
  • Do not dispose of in fire or expose to excess heat. Batteries can explode or leak when exposed to high temperatures.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. Use a compatible charger designed for Fujifilm NP-50, NP-50A, Kodak KLIC-7004, or Pentax D-LI68/D-LI122 type batteries.

  1. Insert the battery into the compatible charger according to the charger's instructions.
  2. Connect the charger to a power source.
  3. Allow the battery to charge until the charger's indicator shows a full charge.

This battery features no memory effect, allowing you to charge it at any time without reducing its capacity.

4.2 Installing the Battery

To install the battery into your compatible digital camera:

  1. Ensure the camera is turned off.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on your camera, typically on the bottom.
  3. Open the battery compartment cover.
  4. Align the battery with the correct polarity indicators inside the compartment. The gold contacts on the battery should match the contacts in the camera.

5. Operating the Battery

Once installed, the battery powers your digital camera. The camera's battery indicator will show the remaining charge level. When the battery level is low, recharge the battery promptly.

7. Troubleshooting
