2. Product Overview

This kit includes a powerful Speedlight TTL Flash and a versatile Dual Battery Grip, designed to enhance your Canon DSLR photography experience.

2.1 Speedlight TTL Flash

The Speedlight TTL Flash features a high guide number of 58 (ISO 100, 180mm) and supports various flash modes including TTL, Manual (M), Multi, and S1/S2 slave modes. It includes wireless master and slave unit functions and a large-screen LCD display for easy control.

2.2 Dual Battery Grip

The Dual Battery Grip is designed to hold two LP-E10 batteries or six AA batteries, significantly extending your camera's operational time. It features a built-in shutter release button for comfortable vertical shooting and a non-slip rubberized grip for enhanced handling. A 1/4"-20 threaded mount is located at the bottom for tripod or monopod use.

3. Setup

3.1 Speedlight TTL Flash Setup

1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the flash unit and insert four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
2. Mounting on Camera: Slide the flash unit onto your camera's hot shoe. Secure it by turning the locking wheel clockwise until it is firmly attached.
3. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to power on the flash. The LCD screen will illuminate.

3.2 Dual Battery Grip Setup

1. Remove Camera Battery Door: Locate and remove the battery compartment door from your Canon DSLR camera. Store this door in the dedicated slot on the battery grip to prevent loss.
2. Insert Batteries into Grip: The grip comes with two sliding trays. Insert up to two LP-E10 batteries into one tray or six AA batteries into the second tray. Ensure correct orientation and polarity. Slide the loaded tray into the battery grip.
3. Attach Grip to Camera: Insert the power contacts of the battery grip into the camera's empty battery slot. Align the grip with the camera's tripod socket.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Speedlight TTL Flash Operation

Use the MODE button to cycle through the available flash modes. Use the directional buttons and SET button to adjust settings on the LCD display.

• TTL Mode: (Through-The-Lens) The flash automatically determines the correct light output for optimal exposure. This is the most common and easiest mode for general use.
• Manual (M) Mode: Allows you to manually set the flash power output (e.g., 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, up to 1/128). This mode offers precise control for creative lighting.
• Multi Mode: (Stroboscopic Flash) Fires a series of rapid flashes during a single exposure, useful for capturing multiple movements of a subject in one frame. You can set the frequency and number of flashes.
• S1/S2 Slave Modes: These modes allow the flash to be triggered wirelessly by another flash unit.
  • S1 Mode: Triggers the flash when it detects the main flash firing. Suitable for manual flash units.
  • S2 Mode: Ignores the pre-flash of a TTL flash and triggers on the second flash, making it compatible with TTL systems.
• Wireless Master/Slave Functions: Refer to the flash's LCD menu for setting up wireless groups and channels for advanced off-camera flash control.

4.2 Dual Battery Grip Operation

• Extended Power: The grip provides extended shooting time by utilizing two LP-E10 batteries or six AA batteries.
• Vertical Shooting: The built-in shutter release button on the grip allows for comfortable and ergonomic shooting when holding the camera in portrait orientation.

5. Maintenance
