Important Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before using this appliance. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, follow these basic precautions:

• Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing.

• Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not use without dust cup and/or filters in place.
• Turn off all controls before unplugging.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

Assembly and Setup

Before first use, ensure all components are present and correctly assembled.

Assembly Steps:

1. Attach the Hose Pipe: Insert the larger end of the hose pipe firmly into the suction inlet on the main vacuum cleaner unit until it clicks into place.
2. Connect the Extension Pipe: Attach the metal extension pipe to the handle end of the hose pipe. Ensure a secure friction fit.

3. Attach the Floor Nozzle or Accessory: Connect the desired cleaning accessory (e.g., carpet brush/floor nozzle or 2-in-1 nozzle) to the end of the extension pipe.

4. Power Connection: Extend the power cord from the main unit and plug it into a suitable electrical outlet. The cord is retractable via a button on the unit.

Operating Instructions

Starting the Vacuum Cleaner:

1. Ensure the vacuum cleaner is fully assembled and plugged into a power outlet.
2. Press the power button (often a large push button) located on the main unit to turn the vacuum cleaner on.
3. Begin cleaning the desired surface. The powerful 2000 Watts motor provides strong suction.

Cleaning Different Surfaces:

The OS 2000BL is suitable for various surfaces, including marble, carpeted rooms, and hardwood floors.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

Emptying the Dust Container:

The dust container full indicator will alert you when it's time to empty the container. This is crucial for maintaining strong suction.

1. Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the power outlet.
2. Locate the dust container release button or latch on the main unit.
3. Carefully remove the dust container.
4. Empty the contents into a waste bin.
5. Reattach the dust container securely to the main unit until it clicks into place.

Cleaning and Maintaining Filters:

The OS 2000BL features a HEPA filter and multi-stage filtration system. Regular cleaning of these filters is essential.

1. Unplug the vacuum cleaner.
2. Remove the dust container as described above.
3. Access the filters (refer to your specific model's diagram for exact filter locations, typically within or near the dust container).
4. Gently tap off loose dust from the filters over a waste bin.
5. If filters are washable (check product specifications), rinse them under cool running water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergent.
6. Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting them. Do not use the vacuum cleaner with wet filters.
7. Reinsert the dry filters and reattach the dust container.

Note: Spare parts, including filters, are available for warranty and post-warranty repairs.
