Installation
Follow these steps for safe and proper installation of your Lumary Smart Recessed Lights. It is recommended to consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure about any steps.
- Prepare the Ceiling: Use the provided hole cut-out template to mark and cut a 110mm (4.34 inch) hole in the ceiling at your desired location. Ensure there are no obstructions like joists or pipes.
- Wire the Junction Box: Open the junction box. Connect the household wiring to the wires inside the junction box using the provided wiring caps. Match the colors: black to black (live), white to white (neutral), and green to green (ground). Secure all connections.
- Place the Junction Box: Tuck the wired junction box into the ceiling hole.
- Connect the Light Fixture: Connect the cable from the light fixture to the corresponding connector on the junction box. Ensure a secure connection.
- Secure the Light Fixture: Push the spring-loaded clips on the light fixture upwards and insert the fixture into the ceiling hole. The clips will automatically snap down to hold the light securely in place against the ceiling.
