Setup and Programming

1. Battery Installation

The remote requires two (2) AA batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity when inserting the batteries into the battery compartment located on the back of the remote.

  1. Find Remote Codes: Locate the remote codes for your specific device brand. These codes are typically found in the included code list or online at www.jascoproducts.com/remotecodes.
  2. Enter Setup Mode: Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator light on the remote turns on, then release the button.
  3. Select Device: Press and release the desired device button (e.g., TV, CBL, STRM, B-RAY, AUD, AUX). The red indicator light will flash once and remain lit.
  4. Enter Code: Using the number buttons, key in the first 4-digit code for your device. After entering the last digit, the red indicator light will turn off if the code is valid. If the light flashes and remains on, the code is invalid; re-enter the code.
  5. Test Device: Point your remote at the device and test different buttons (e.g., Power, Volume, Channel) to see if the device responds.
  6. Repeat for Other Devices: If the device does not respond or not all functions work, repeat the process with the next code listed for your brand until full functionality is achieved. Repeat steps for each additional device you wish to control.

3. Automatic Code Search

If you cannot find a code for your device or prefer an automatic search:

  1. Turn on the device you wish to control.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator light turns on, then release.
  3. Press and release the desired device button (e.g., TV). The red indicator light will flash once and remain lit.
  4. Point the remote at the device and press the POWER button repeatedly (approximately every 2 seconds) until the device turns off.
  5. Once the device turns off, press the SETUP button to lock in the code. The red indicator light will turn off.
  6. Test the remote's functions with the device. If not all functions work, repeat the search process.

Operating Instructions

Device Selection

To control a specific device, press the corresponding device button at the top of the remote (e.g., TV, CBL, STRM). The remote will then send commands to that device.

Basic Functions

  • Power: Press the POWER button to turn the selected device on or off.
