Operating Instructions

Brewing Coffee

  3. Close the top lid securely.
  4. Place the empty glass carafe onto the warming plate. Ensure it is properly seated to activate the anti-drip mechanism.
  5. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
  6. Press the ON/OFF button. The indicator light will illuminate, and the brewing process will begin.
  7. Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to the keep-warm function.

Maintenance

Daily Cleaning

Descaling

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting its performance and coffee taste. Descale your coffee maker regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-4 weeks).

  1. Prepare a descaling solution: Mix white vinegar and water in a 1:2 ratio (e.g., 1 cup vinegar to 2 cups water). Fill the water reservoir with this solution up to the 12-cup mark.
  2. Place the empty permanent filter and filter basket into position. Place the empty glass carafe on the warming plate.
  3. Press the ON/OFF button to start a brewing cycle. Allow half of the solution to brew through, then press ON/OFF to pause the cycle.
  4. Let the coffee maker sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the solution to work on the deposits.
  5. Press ON/OFF again to complete the brewing cycle. Discard the solution from the carafe.
  6. Run 2-3 cycles with fresh, clean water only to rinse out any remaining descaling solution and odor.
