Product Overview
The Asiahorse FS-S001 120mm RGB Fans are designed to provide efficient cooling and customizable lighting for your computer case. Featuring a full-frame acrylic ARGB design, these fans offer a unique aesthetic with various lighting modes. They support 5V motherboard synchronization and come with an analog PWM controller for versatile control options.
- Square Acrylic Light Effect: The fan frame features a 30mm thick acrylic square design, providing a distinctive and luxurious appearance.
- Customized Light Effect Mode: The unique fan hub allows for diverse lighting modes, including internal, external, and combined light effects such as wave, full light, RGB spectrum, flow, ripple, pulse, and blink.
- Nine Leaves Design: Fine transparent, frosted materials and a nine-blade design ensure smooth light diffusion without visible dark spots, enhancing color presentation.
- Superior Airflow And Pressure: Equipped with PWM 4-pin and ARGB 5V 3-Pin connectors, these fans operate at 800-1800 RPM, delivering 57 CFM airflow and 1.98 mmH2O air pressure for effective temperature reduction.
- Synchronized Gaming Station: Control fan lighting with compatible 5V addressable RGB motherboards, including ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB FUSION, and MSI Mystic Light Sync.

- 3 x 120mm Fans
- 12 x Fan Screws
- 2 x SATA Power Cables
- 1 x ARGB/PWM Cable
- 1 x Hub Controller
- 1 x 2.4G Remote
- 1 x Fan Manual
Setup Instructions
1. Fan Installation
- Identify desired mounting locations within your computer case (e.g., front, top, rear, bottom).
- Secure each 120mm fan to the case using the provided fan screws. Ensure the airflow direction is correct for your cooling configuration (typically intake at front/bottom, exhaust at rear/top).
2. Hub Controller Connection
The hub controller manages both fan power and ARGB lighting. It supports up to 10 fans.

Image: Fan Hub Connection Diagram. This diagram illustrates connecting fans to the hub, the hub to a SATA power supply, and the hub to the motherboard's ARGB and PWM headers.
- Connect each fan's proprietary cable to an available port on the hub controller.
- Connect one end of a provided SATA power cable to the hub controller and the other end to an available SATA power connector from your power supply unit (PSU).
- For motherboard synchronization, connect the ARGB/PWM cable from the hub controller to your motherboard's 5V 3-pin ARGB header and a 4-pin PWM fan header. Ensure it is a 5V ARGB header, not a 12V RGB header, to prevent damage.
3. Cable Management
Route cables neatly to ensure proper airflow and a clean build. Use cable ties if necessary.
Operating Instructions
1. Lighting Control
The FS-S001 fans offer two methods for controlling ARGB lighting:
- Motherboard Sync: If connected to a compatible 5V 3-pin ARGB header, you can control the lighting effects using your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB FUSION, MSI Mystic Light Sync). Refer to your motherboard manual for specific software instructions.
- Remote Control: Use the included 2.4G remote to cycle through various preset lighting modes, adjust brightness, and change colors. To switch between motherboard control and remote control, double-tap the power button on the remote.

2. Fan Speed Control
Fan speed can be controlled via PWM or the remote:
- PWM Control: If connected to a 4-pin PWM fan header on your motherboard, the fan speed will automatically adjust based on system temperature, or you can manually configure fan curves in your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI or software.
- Remote Control: The 2.4G remote also allows for manual adjustment of fan speed settings.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your fans:
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the fan blades and frame to remove dust buildup. Use compressed air or a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the computer is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Inspection: Check cables for secure connections and signs of wear. Ensure anti-vibration pads are intact.
Troubleshooting
Fans Not Spinning
- Ensure the hub controller is securely connected to the power supply via a SATA cable.
- Verify that each fan is correctly plugged into the hub controller.
- If using PWM control, check the motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings to ensure fan headers are enabled and configured correctly.
ARGB Lighting Not Working
- Confirm the ARGB/PWM cable from the hub is connected to a 5V 3-pin ARGB header on your motherboard. Do not connect to a 12V 4-pin RGB header.
- If using motherboard software, ensure it is updated and correctly configured to detect and control the ARGB devices.
- If using the remote, ensure it has working batteries and try double-tapping the power button to switch control modes.
- Check all connections between the fans, hub, and motherboard for looseness.
Excessive Noise
- Ensure fans are securely mounted and not vibrating against the case.
- Check for any cables or obstructions interfering with the fan blades.
- Clean any dust buildup on the fan blades.
- If using PWM, adjust fan speed settings in BIOS/UEFI or software to a lower RPM.
