  1. Prepare Tools: Ensure all tools to be sterilized are clean and dry. Place them loosely on the sterilization trays. Do not overload the trays.
  2. Load Trays: Using the pick-up rings, carefully place the loaded trays into the inner chamber of the sterilizer.
  3. Close Lid: Close the lid of the sterilizer securely.
  4. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature control knob to the desired sterilization temperature. For most metal tools, 160°C (320°F) for 60 minutes is a common recommendation, but always refer to your tool manufacturer's guidelines. The maximum temperature is 200°C.

  6. Sterilization Cycle: The unit will heat up and maintain the set temperature for the duration of the timer. The red light may cycle on and off as the unit regulates temperature.
  7. Cycle Completion: Once the timer reaches zero, the heating element will turn off, and the red indicator light will extinguish. The unit will begin to cool down.
  8. Cooling Down: Allow the unit and tools to cool down sufficiently before handling. This may take some time due to the high temperatures involved.
  9. Remove Tools: Using the pick-up rings, carefully remove the trays with the sterilized tools.
  10. Storage: Store sterilized tools in a clean, dry, and sterile environment to maintain their sterility.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Cleaning Interior: Ensure the unit is unplugged and completely cool. Remove the trays. Wipe the stainless steel inner chamber with a clean, damp cloth. For stubborn residue, a mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used, followed by thorough rinsing with a damp cloth and drying.
