1. Important Safety Instructions

Main Components:

• Control Panel: Located on the top of the unit for manual operation.
• Air Outlet: Front grille where conditioned air is discharged. Features adjustable louvers.

3. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup of your air conditioner.

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around all sides for proper airflow. Do not place near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3. Fill Water Tank: Open the water tank cover (usually at the back or bottom) and fill with clean tap water. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line indicated on the water level indicator. For cooling, you may add ice packs (not included) to the water tank for enhanced performance.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 115V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded.

Control Panel and Remote Control:

The unit can be operated using the buttons on the control panel or the included remote control. The functions are generally the same.

Basic Operation:

5. Timer Function: Press the TIMER button to set an operating duration (e.g., 1-12 hours) after which the unit will automatically turn off. Press repeatedly to adjust the time.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your appliance.

Cleaning the Exterior:

• Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
• Ensure no water enters the control panel or other electrical components.

Cleaning the Water Tank:

• Drain any remaining water from the tank regularly, especially if the unit will not be used for an extended period.
• Remove the water tank (if detachable) and clean it with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
• Allow the tank to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

Air Filter Cleaning (if applicable):

Some models may include an air filter. If present, gently remove the filter (usually located at the back) and rinse it under running water. Allow it to dry completely before reinserting.

Storage:

• If storing the unit for a long period, ensure the water tank is completely empty and dry.
• Clean the entire unit as described above.
