3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2. Placement

Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces, or near strong electromagnetic fields.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

  • To power on, press the -zero button. The display will show "0g" when ready.
  • To power off, press and hold the -zero button for a few seconds. The scale will also automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

4.2. Unit Conversion

Press the unit button to cycle through the available measurement units: grams (g), pounds and ounces (lb:oz), milliliters (ml), and fluid ounces (fl.oz).

4.3. Tare Function

The tare function allows you to weigh items in a container by subtracting the container's weight.

  1. Place an empty container on the scale platform. The display will show its weight.
  2. Press the -zero button. The display will reset to "0g" (or the currently selected unit).
  3. Add the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will now show only the net weight of the items.

4.4. Weighing Items

  1. Ensure the scale is on a flat surface and powered on, displaying "0g".
  2. Place the item(s) directly onto the center of the tempered glass platform.
  3. Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.

4.5. Liquid Measuring Function

The scale can measure liquids in milliliters (ml) or fluid ounces (fl.oz).

  1. Place an empty container on the scale.
  2. Press the -zero button to tare the container.
  3. Press the unit button until "ml" or "fl.oz" is displayed.
  4. Pour the liquid into the container. The volume will be displayed.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning
