Setup

Before first use, follow these steps to prepare your kettle:

  1. Unpack the kettle and all accessories. Remove any packaging materials.
  2. Place the power base on a stable, flat, dry, and heat-resistant surface.
  3. Fill the kettle with clean water up to the maximum fill line. Do not add any other substances.
  4. Boil the water (refer to 'Boiling Water' section). Discard the boiled water.
  5. Repeat step 3 and 4 two more times to ensure the kettle is clean and ready for use.

Operating Instructions

1. Boiling Water

  1. Ensure the kettle is unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the 0.3L minimum mark or above the 1.0L maximum mark.
  3. Close the lid securely.
  4. Place the kettle firmly on the power base.
  5. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  6. Press the main power switch to the 'ON' position. The blue LED light will illuminate, indicating the kettle is heating.
  7. Once the water boils, the kettle will automatically shut off, and the LED light will extinguish.
  8. Carefully lift the kettle from the base and pour the hot water.

2. Using the Tea Infuser

The integrated tea infuser allows for convenient brewing of loose-leaf or bagged teas.

  1. Remove the tea infuser from the kettle by gently pulling it upwards.
  2. Fill the infuser with your desired amount of loose-leaf tea or tea bags. Do not overfill.
  3. Place the filled infuser back into the kettle, ensuring it is properly seated.
  4. Fill the kettle with water to the appropriate level for your tea.
  5. Follow the 'Boiling Water' instructions to heat the water.
  6. Once boiling is complete, allow the tea to steep for the recommended time.
  7. Carefully remove the infuser before pouring, or leave it in if you prefer a stronger brew.

3. Keep Warm Function

This function maintains the water temperature between 176°F (80°C) and 185°F (85°C) after boiling.

  1. After the water has boiled and the kettle has automatically shut off, press the 'KEEP WARM' button located on the power base.
  2. The indicator light on the 'KEEP WARM' button will illuminate, signifying that the function is active.
  3. The kettle will periodically reheat the water to maintain the set temperature range.
  4. To deactivate the Keep Warm function, press the 'KEEP WARM' button again or remove the kettle from the power base.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your kettle.

  • Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the kettle and power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • The tea infuser can be rinsed under running water and cleaned with a small brush if necessary.
  • To remove mineral deposits (limescale) from the interior:
    1. Fill the kettle with 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
    2. Boil the mixture and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy deposits.
    3. Pour out the mixture and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
    4. Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution following the product's instructions.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or reusing.
