Setup and Assembly
The Member's Mark Patio Heater requires assembly before first use. Follow these general steps:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage. Remove all protective films from stainless steel parts.
- Base Assembly: Attach the wheels to the base of the heater. The base can be filled with sand or water (approximately 25 lbs) for added stability.
- Column and Housing Assembly: Secure the main column to the base. Install the propane tank housing around the column.
- Propane Tank Installation: Open the double doors on the propane tank housing. Place a standard 20 lb propane tank inside and secure it using the provided strap. Connect the gas hose from the heater to the propane tank valve. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- LED Table Installation: Slide the LED table onto the main column at the desired height.
- Burner and Reflector Assembly: Attach the burner assembly to the top of the column. Assemble the multi-piece aluminized reflector and secure it above the burner.

Operating Instructions
To operate your patio heater, follow these steps:
- Gas Supply: Ensure the propane tank valve is fully open.
- Ignition: Locate the control knob and the red igniter button on the heater's body. Push and turn the control knob to the 'LOW' position. While holding the knob down, press the red igniter button repeatedly until the burner ignites. Continue to hold the control knob down for 10-15 seconds after ignition to allow the thermocouple to heat up.
- Adjusting Heat: Once ignited, release the control knob. You can then rotate the knob to adjust the heat output between 'LOW' and 'HIGH' settings. The maximum heat output is 47,000 BTUs.
- LED Table Light: The LED table has a separate power switch located underneath the table surface. Flip the switch to turn the LED light on or off. The LED light is powered by a 9V battery (not included).
- Shutting Down: To turn off the heater, rotate the control knob to the 'OFF' position. Always close the valve on the propane tank after each use.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your patio heater.
- Cleaning: Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel parts, use a stainless steel cleaner. Do not use abrasive cleaners or flammable cleaning agents.
- Burner Inspection: Periodically inspect the burner and its components for spider webs, insect nests, or other obstructions. Clear any blockages to ensure proper gas flow.
- Hose and Regulator: Check the gas hose and regulator for cuts, abrasions, or leaks before each use. Perform a leak test with soapy water if a leak is suspected.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, especially during winter months, disconnect the propane tank and store the heater in a dry, sheltered area. Consider using a weather-resistant cover to protect the unit.
Troubleshooting
If your patio heater is not functioning correctly, consult the following common issues and solutions:
- Heater will not ignite:
- Ensure the propane tank valve is fully open.
- Check if the propane tank is empty and replace if necessary.
- Verify the igniter battery (for the LED table) is correctly installed and not depleted.
- Ensure the control knob is held down for 10-15 seconds after pressing the igniter.
- Check for obstructions in the burner or gas lines.
- Low heat output:
- Confirm the control knob is set to 'HIGH'.
- Check the propane tank level.
- Ensure the gas hose is not kinked or obstructed.
- LED Table light not working:
- Check the 9V battery for proper installation and charge. Replace if needed.
