This smart scale is designed to measure body weight and analyze 13 key body composition metrics, which are then synchronized with the Fitdays app on your smartphone for comprehensive health tracking.
Setup Guide
1. Unboxing and Initial Preparation
Carefully remove the scale from its packaging. Ensure all components are present. The scale comes with 3xAAA batteries included. Before first use, locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the scale and remove the plastic insulator tab to activate the batteries.

2. App Download and Account Creation
Download the 'Fitdays' app from the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices). Search for 'Fitdays' to find the correct application. Once downloaded, open the app and register a new account or log in with an existing account.
3. Pairing the Scale with the App
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Open the Fitdays app and navigate to the 'Device' or 'Measure' section.
- Step onto the scale with bare feet. The scale display will activate.
- The app should automatically detect and pair with your scale. Follow any on-screen prompts in the app to complete the pairing process.

4. Scale Placement
Place the scale on a hard, flat surface for accurate measurements. Avoid placing it on carpets or uneven surfaces, as this can affect precision.

Operating Instructions
1. Taking a Measurement
- Open the Fitdays app on your smartphone.
- Step onto the scale with bare, dry feet. Ensure your feet are in full contact with the four metal electrodes on the scale's surface.
- Stand still on the scale. The display will show your weight, and the app will begin measuring and synchronizing all 13 body composition metrics.
- Remain on the scale for approximately 10-15 seconds until all measurements are complete and synchronized with the app.

2. Understanding the Display and App
The scale's LCD display will show your weight. For a detailed breakdown of all 13 body composition metrics, refer to the Fitdays app. The app provides charts and historical data to track your progress over time.

3. Unit Conversion
To switch between pounds (lb) and kilograms (kg), locate the 'UNIT' button on the bottom of the scale, near the battery compartment. Press this button to toggle between measurement units.

- Weight: Your total body mass.
- BMI (Body Mass Index): A measure of body fat based on height and weight.
- Body Fat: The total amount of fat in your body.
- Subcutaneous Fat: Fat stored directly under the skin.
- Body Water: The total amount of fluid in your body.
- Protein: The amount of protein in your body.
- BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate): The number of calories your body needs to function at rest.
- Body Age: Compares your body composition to the typical range for different age groups.
- Muscle Rate: The percentage of muscle mass in your body.
- Muscle Mass: The total weight of muscle in your body.
- Skeletal Muscle: Muscle attached to bones, responsible for movement.
- Bone Mass: The total weight of bone in your body.
- Visceral Fat: Fat stored around the organs in your abdomen.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the scale in water or use chemical cleaning agents, as this can damage the electronic components.
2. Battery Replacement
When the scale display shows 'Lo', it indicates low battery. Replace the 3xAAA batteries in the compartment on the bottom of the scale. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
3. Storage
Store the scale in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing heavy objects on the scale when not in use.
Troubleshooting
- Scale not turning on: Ensure the plastic insulator tab has been removed from the battery compartment. Check if batteries are correctly installed or need replacement.
- Inaccurate readings: Place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Avoid carpets. Ensure your feet are bare and in full contact with the electrodes. Stand still during measurement.
- App connectivity issues: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Ensure the Fitdays app has necessary permissions (Bluetooth, location for Android). Try restarting the app and re-pairing the device.
- Error Codes:
- 'Lo': Low battery. Replace batteries.
- 'Er': Overload. The scale's maximum capacity is 400lbs (180kg). Step off the scale and step on again to repeat the measurement process.
- 'C': An error has occurred during measurement. Step off the scale and step on again to repeat the measurement process.
