Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

3. Connect the RED clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
4. Connect the BLACK clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
5. If the wiring is correct, the smart clamp's indicator light will show a steady green. If it flashes red and green alternately, or an alarm sounds, the wiring is incorrect. Disconnect and re-connect correctly.
6. Once connected correctly, start your vehicle.
7. Immediately after the vehicle starts, remove the smart clamp from the vehicle battery, then disconnect it from the jump starter.
