6. Maintenance

The Avantree DG60 requires minimal maintenance. Keep the device clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 No Sound or Intermittent Audio

  • Check Audio Output: Ensure "Avantree DG60" is selected as the default audio output device in your system's sound settings (refer to Section 4.2).
  • Re-pair Devices: Disconnect and re-pair your Bluetooth headphones/speakers with the DG60.
  • Proximity: Ensure the DG60 and your audio device are within range and not obstructed by physical barriers.
  • Interference: Operation range can be affected by wireless interference from other devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, microwaves). Try moving the DG60 or your audio device to a different location.
  • Sennheiser Headphones Popping Noise: Certain Sennheiser models may experience popping with aptX low latency. This is a known chipset issue and may require a software upgrade for the headphones or transmitter.

7.2 DG60 Not Recognized by PC

  • USB Port: Try plugging the DG60 into a different USB port on your computer.
  • USB Extension Cable: If using the extension cable, ensure it is securely connected. Try connecting the DG60 directly to the PC's USB port to rule out cable issues.
  • Driver Installation: While the DG60 is plug-and-play, ensure your operating system is up to date.

7.3 Lip-Sync Delay

  • aptX Low Latency: For minimal delay, ensure both the DG60 and your Bluetooth headphones/speakers support the aptX Low Latency codec.
  • Non-aptX-LL Devices: Using non-aptX Low Latency devices will result in an audio delay of 70-200ms, which may not be ideal for watching TV/movies.
