Setup Guide

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your Movo iVlogger Vlogging Kit for use.

1. Assemble the Tripod and Phone Mount

  1. Unfold the legs of the tabletop tripod to create a stable base.
  2. Screw the ball head mount onto the top of the tripod.
  3. Attach the phone clamp to the ball head mount. Ensure it is securely tightened.
  4. Insert your iPhone into the phone clamp. The clamp is adjustable to fit various phone sizes.

2. Attach the Microphone and LED Light

  1. Screw the rail mount bracket (extension bracket) onto the cold shoe mount on top of the phone clamp.
  2. Slide the shotgun microphone into one of the cold shoe mounts on the rail mount bracket.
  3. Slide the LED light into the other cold shoe mount on the rail mount bracket.

3. Connect Cables

  • Connect the 3.5mm TRRS cable from the microphone to the Lightning cable.
  • Plug the Lightning cable into your iPhone's Lightning port.
  • Ensure all connections are secure.

4. Charge the LED Light

Before first use, fully charge the LED light using the provided Micro-USB cable. The charging port is typically located on the side of the LED light unit.

Operating Instructions

Using the Shotgun Microphone

The shotgun microphone is designed to capture clear, directional audio, minimizing background noise.

  • Ensure the microphone is securely connected to your iPhone via the TRRS and Lightning cables.
  • No external power is required for the microphone as it draws power from your device.

Using the LED Light

  • Press the power button on the LED light to turn it on.
  • Cycle through the 3 brightness levels by pressing the power button repeatedly.
  • Press and hold the power button to turn the light off.

Using the Adjustable Tripod

The tripod offers versatile positioning for various recording scenarios.

  • Handheld Position: Fold the legs together to form a comfortable grip for mobile recording.
  • Ball Head Adjustment: Loosen the knob on the ball head mount to adjust the angle and orientation (including 90° portrait tilt) of your iPhone. Tighten the knob to secure the position.
